(Grr) Why is it that the council aren't happy unless their digging up some roads which they just did about 3months ago, littering it with bright orange cones, and big flashing signs. The thing is they do all this, close roads off and when you finally manage to dodge the bloody things you see that there's nobody working on it.
A mean fair enough yes they need to place cones out to let drivers no not to drive on that part of the road, but 1 cone for every 20cm or so... its a complete joke. Then you get some plank who is driving 80mph on a single carriage way, (even though the huge FLASHING ROAD SIGN'S state its only 30mph) and they clip a cone which that then clips another and another and another..... and then everyone is trying to dodge flying traffic cones, and then you have to stop, get out the car and shift about 5 cones out of the way in order for you to get passed.
A don't no about you, but I'm so tempted sometimes just to get out of me car, grab the nearest fluorescent cornette and go and hit one of the workman (if you can actually find one) on the noggin and tell them to get their backsides to some where that actually needs resurfacing.
There are plenty places a could tell them to go. For instance round my neck of the woods. Most of the roads round Jarrow are like driving on a dirt track. Every pot hole you hit is guaranteed to make those less desirable parts wobble, well especially in my case.
Anyway that's enough about that. Please leave me some comments.
